Nathan Carroll is a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) at a critical access hospital. His areas of practice currently include the full scope of anesthesia and pain management care. A versatile nurse anesthetist, Nathan Carroll is involved in pre-operative assessments, individualized anesthetic planning, intraoperative patient management, and post-operative evaluations. He is also skilled in procedures related to various surgical specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, gynecology, ENT, endoscopy, urology, and ophthalmology.
Mr. Carroll’s skill set includes labor epidurals, PICC and central line placements, arterial line insertions, and diagnostic lumbar punctures. He is also involved in emergency airway management and serves on the hospital's CODE team.
In addition to his anesthesia responsibilities, he is engaged in nonsurgical pain management. He facilitates diagnosis and treatment of a broad array of chronic pain conditions, such as migraines, radiculopathy, joint pain, spasticity, and cancer-related pain.
